In the heart of the Roussillon, in Rivesaltes, Cazes has near 200 hectares that each year give rise to 15 different wines.
Vins de pays, Côtes du Roussillon and Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Rivesaltes and Muscat de Rivesaltes... each of those is given the same care in nearly twelve different processes, each combining traditional know-how and elaborate technology.

For the last ten years Cazes has been using new viticulture methods which use the principals of a naturally healthy plant: the bio-dynamic principal.

Terroir / Soil :
Corresponds to Riss glacial era. Constituted by two horizons :
The 1st : Silice + Limestone + Marls
The 2nd : Pebbles + Limestone + Marls

Grape varieties : Muscat Alexandrie, Muscat petit grain, Macabeu, Vermentino, Grenache blanc, Syrah, Grenache noir, Mourvèdre, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernte Franc, Tannat, Viognier, Carignan.

Surface : 220 hectares including 120 hectares all of one plot.

Main Appellation : Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon villages, Muscat de Rivesaltes, Rivesaltes, Vin de pays des côtes catalanes.

Awards : Since 1960, more than 300 medals have neen awarded to our wines in the following towns : Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier, Macon, Bordeaux, Colmar, Paris, Bruxelles, London, Budapest, Montreal.

Production / Distribution : Over 900 000 bottles are exported each year from Rivesaltes (40% France, 60% Export)
